The class that I liked studying the most this year is
Workshop 3, specifically what I saw in bioanthropology, so far the class has
made me very entertaining since they taught us to date radiocarbon dates
through an application called "OxCal" They also briefly introduced us
to what will be seen in Physical Anthropology in the coming years, since we saw
Biometry, measurements, identification, health-disease controls in living,
Measurements, identification, research in non-living, mummies, adhered organic
and inorganic biomaterials , pathogens, and parasites that colonize the body,
Conflicts and ethical dilemmas associated with the Chilean archaeological human
remains.
I mainly like this class because it showed me things that I
did not think would interest me as much as materiality, but now it left me
wondering what to study later, so it motivated me to get a double mention in
the next few years, already that brought out something new in me, without a
doubt this is why this topic began to interest me, since I like analysis,
mummies and artifacts. You can find a lot of new things of history for
humanity.
